Champagne and Shilla at Cakewalk

I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to co-host this fun party this week with Cakewalk!  Not only did we get to showcase their new Shilla clothing line, but I also got to meet some of their favorite fashionable clients!

For the event I decided to pair my white Shilla dress with my favorite comfy Jimmy Choo over the knee sandals.  Check out these boots from Steve Madden as they recreate this look well, at a budget friendly price!

The ladies at Cakewalk did such a great job styling the shop and showcasing the Shilla line that is exclusive to them. Cakewalk is the only place you can find Shilla in Houston!

The #ChampagneandShilla event was a come and go event and I was so appreciative of all the women who came to shop and support! Well established L. Avenue blogger, Lyndsey Zorich looked chic in her white blazer, while graciously sharing blogging insight. I look forward to meeting more local bloggers who love fashion as much as I do!

I made a new Pilates friend who looked stunning in her navy Valentina Kova dress, thank you Lezlie for coming up from the Woodlands.  So thankful for all of these supportive women!

While the event was fun, I was thankful that it also had a cause. A portion of sales went to my favorite charity, The Will Herndon Research Fund (HOPE).  My dear friend, Missy Herndon, has a son Will who was diagnosed with the rare, fatal, genetic Juvenile Batten’s Disease at 6 years old and recently turned 13.  Both Gina and Jennifer at Cakewalk have been longtime supporters of the cause, and to partner with them on this event were the proceeds benefit the cause was the highlight of the day!
