For the Love of Tory
I was so honored to be featured in Houston Modern Luxury’s Magazine December Issue. And I couldn’t be more grateful to the sweet and talented writer, Nickole Bobley for giving me this opportunity!
Preparing the weeks ahead for the photo shoot was a bit nerve wracking. WHAT. DO. I. WEAR. What do I wear. What do I wear???!!!
And then... like it was meant to be...an email from Tory Burch. I click on it. And the heavens sang. There she was, Tory Burch herself in the dress that was perfect for my shoot. DONE.
The pattern, the billowy sleeves, the flowing skirt, and my favorite...the gold buttons on the front with velvet trim. This dress is timeless. It is perfect for the workday, for church and even for date night. My brother even called it a “Mad Men” dress (from the 1960’s period drama series) when I wore it to my sister’s wedding. Yup! This dress will be in my closet for years.
